WonderProxy is a B2B SaaS company that helps its customers test their websites from around the world. Our team has a strong engineering focus, and we're eager to add expertise in sales and marketing.

We're looking for an individual to fill a blended role of lead generation & inside sales. You will be responsible for sourcing leads opening conversations, and carrying relationships through to contract execution. You will also be responsible for managing incoming leads, through our existing free trial options, sales requests, or other incoming connections. Our technical team is happy to support you when technical questions arrive, or to jump on a call with a qualified lead. We will provide training on our product, and review what we look for in potential leads.

Employment Type: Full time, remote. Depending on your location this may be regular employment (available in Ontario, and Quebec Canada), or a contract (elsewhere). Contractors will be responsible for their own local taxes, and reporting requirements.

Travel Required: Possible yearly off-site meetings with the team.

Compensation: Fixed (60k CAD/year) + monthly performance bonuses

More about you

  • You have experience building relationships with and selling to businesses.
  • You can communicate fluently in English.
  • You can work remotely (we have no physical offices).
  • You have a reliable, high-speed internet connection and phone line, and your working hours can overlap at least four hours with Toronto/New York business hours.
  • You are comfortable working with a technical product. We often sell to development or QA teams. We’re not asking you to become a subject matter expert (SME), but you will need to learn to use our product, and understand where it may fit in with prospects' existing systems.

  • Small customers currently have a zero touch sales process: customers find us, enter their credit card number, and start using the service. Larger customers may request a demo or a sales call.

How we’ll support you

  • Your first week will include conference calls with the rest of the team where we demonstrate our product, how it works, and how our customers integrate it into their systems.
  • We’ll walk you through some ways we’ve found prospects so far.
  • Our team of SMEs will be available to join scheduled calls with qualified leads, or answer your questions via Slack and email.
  • Once we’ve built a workflow for incoming sales, we’ll work together to select a Customer Relationship Management tool that meets your needs.
  • We'll provide a laptop, phone, and software required to complete your job.

Sales & Teamwork. With a sales role, your sales numbers will play a key part of your compensation & evaluation. Ultimately we’re working to find a candidate who can not only sell, but also build a sales process and team that helps the company grow. We’re a small team, so our ability to work well together is a priority.
