We're happy to announce the immediate availability of Single Sign-On with WonderProxy!

What's that?

Single Sign-On (SSO) is a login system that uses your company identity to authenticate to other services. If you normally sign in with GSuite, Microsoft Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, or others, you're using Single Sign-On.

Why should I use Single Sign-On with WonderProxy?

  • With Single Sign-On, you don't need to worry about a WonderProxy username and password. When you sign in to WonderProxy with SSO, you'll enter your company credentials at your company's website, and that identity seamlessly links up with your WonderProxy user account.
  • You'll automatically comply with your company's security policy when you sign in to your WonderProxy account. At WonderProxy, we put a lot of effort into protecting your credentials, but if you use SSO, you don't have to trust us on that.
  • You can manage your team access from one place. When you require SSO on WonderProxy, only people with a valid SSO account will be able to log in to their WonderProxy accounts.

Can I use SSO on the proxy servers too?

No, SSO only works with your account on wonderproxy.com (where you manage your servers, your team, and your subscription). You'll still need to use a WonderProxy username and password to access the proxy and VPN servers.

Is my company's identity provider supported?

Probably! WonderProxy can accept logins from any SAML 2.0 identity provider, including GSuite, Microsoft Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, and more. If you're not sure whether your identity provider is supported, drop us a note and we'll figure it out!

Sounds great, how do I set it up?

Single Sign-On is already available to everyone on our Enterprise Plan! If you're not on Enterprise, you can check out the upgrade options in your account, or contact our Sales department. Once you have SSO enabled, you can read our documentation and configure your settings.
